Organic Calendula Herbal Oil

Calendula has been used in herbal medicine for millennia. It is said to have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and wound-healing properties. This bright yellow, happy flower contains compounds that have anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce swelling and pain, kill bacteria, and prevent infection. It stimulates the growth of new tissue and soothes the skin.

I covered whole organic calendula flowers (grown right in my garden!) with high-oleic sunflower oil. High-oleic sunflower oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs), including Omega-3, Omega-6, and Omega-9. MUFAs help to prevent and reduce skin inflammation, protect against infection, and reduce signs of aging caused by sun exposure. Steeped for 3 months and triple filtered, it creates a beautiful, orange oil that's perfect for any skin type.

My calendula herbal oil is a non-comedogenic that is quickly absorbed into the skin and does not clog pores. It is also non-irritating, making it suitable for all skin types, including dry, normal, oily, and acne-prone.

How to use: Using a cotton pad or clean hands, rub oil directly onto inflamed, chapped, or damaged skin. Ideal for sunburn, rashes, and scrapes, takes the sting away! Can be used on scabs and wounds to help prevent scarring, itching, and to soften skin. Gentle enough to use as a cleansing oil.
